The first time we hosted Barko, he graced us with a spectacular set that triggered feelings of watching the Beatles in full color...but with a complex funky vibe that got the crowd grooving.

Barko was raised in Detroit, Michigan, obsessed with Rock n Roll, Hip Hop, and films. Having taught himself to sing, play drums and guitar, his melodies are stories that carry you away to distant lands. His influences include but are not limited to: Randy Newman, Prince Paul, Tom Waits, Johnny guitar Watson, and The Band, and Aretha Franklin. Barko makes Rock n Roll designed to satisfy his (and others) primal need to dance.

We've been waiting a year to host Lila again after a great set Halloween 2021.

LILA MARCH always performs quite an enchanting set with punk sensibilities. We felt utterly compelled to feature her again, this time with her band.

Lila has played with several bands : rock and rollers and experimenters alike, in every venue from small and medium-sized, to Razzmatazz.

Lucky for us all, she will also sing a few solos - a mixture of sounds that cover both songwriting in spanish and english.

Her poetic lyrics, and her flow between classical and modern, highlight an intimate music with influences such as Jeff Buckley or Kate Bush.

THE HONEYCLUB

Once again, a long wait is quelched: We have been waiting for you to experience HONEYCLUB live-- They've released a LOT of new music since we first wanted them to play.

The Honeyclub are a fresh rock'n'roll trio from Bochum, brining fun rock-and-roll back into fashion. While many of us waltzed around in our pyjamas in 2020, they released their first two EPs "Chemistry, Baby!" and "Biology, Baby!" and two subsequent singles, the latest titled 'Jesus, John, Waiting On' in early July.The Honeyclub is built around guitarist and vocalist G. Lou, bassist Bo. J Al and drummer Feety Joe.

The band maintains great ambitions to bring Rock'n'Roll to the present and contribute to the development of the genre.

Awarded in their home country for their live shows, The Honeyclub is one of the most exciting musical exports the Ruhr area currently has to offer.

Let's welcome them with a good solid boogie. It's gonna be so fun seeing you all again.
