BJ Griffin x Vermut Sessions @La Nau Barcelona

After years of triple-majoring in music education, performance, and industry, BJ built a dual reputation. Onstage, he is a magnetic force—performing high-energy funk and soul concerts, sharing massive global stages with legends, and captivating millions with his genre-bending performances.

But the relentless output of the traditional commercial music industry eventually led him to a deeper calling: using music not just to entertain, but to structurally heal.

This realization crystallized down in the absolute silence of the ocean. Becoming a certified master freediver, BJ discovered that the deliberate breath control, natural rhythms, and internal stillness required to drop a hundred feet below the water's surface were identical to the flow state of musical performance. The ocean became his ultimate meditation room. He realized that if he could channel that profound aquatic stillness through his vocals and his electric cello, he could actively alter the nervous systems of his listeners.
